SKELESIEGE GAME MANUAL / GUIDE
================================================================================

Welcome to SKELESIEGE, a low-poly retro-styled 2.5d wave defense game heavily
inspired by the aesthetics and mechanics of 2001-era RuneScape Classic (RSC).
As the lone defender of a village, you must gather resources, level up your
combat and skilling, smelt and craft equipment, and withstand 25 relentless
waves of undead and monstrous forces.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. BASIC CONTROLS & CAMERA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Movement:
  * Left-click anywhere on the ground to move your character there.
- Interaction:
  * Left-click on enemies to engage in automated melee combat.
  * Left-click on points of interest (NPCs, trees, ore deposits, fishing spots,
campfires, beds, or building doors) to move over and interact.
- Camera Controls:
  * Use the arrow keys to move the camera around.
  * Use the Scroll Wheel to zoom the camera in and out.
- Combat Blocking:
  * Hold the [SpaceBar] to raise your shield (requires an equipped shield).
This significantly boosts your defense against incoming attacks but reduces
    your movement speed while held.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. ECONOMICS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Gold: Earned by defeating monsters, completing wave bounties, opening chests,
or selling resources in your inventory. Used to buy potions and supplies.
- Lives: Represents the resilience of the garrison. If your Hitpoints reach 0,
you are knocked out, lose 1 Life, and wake up back at the village square.
The game ends immediately if your Lives count drops to 0.
- Wave Counter: Shows your current wave progress out of the 25 total waves.
Each successive wave features higher health multipliers and more enemies.
- Wave Timer: A countdown display shows how long remains before the next wave
arrives automatically. You can prepare safely during the intermissions.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. SKILLING / GATHERING
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perform actions around the village map to gather materials. Carried materials
can be sold for Gold or donated from the Inventory tab to gain Skill Points (SP).
Spend SP in the Skills tab to increase your levels up to the maximum cap.

- Gold Looting (Max Lvl 10):
  * Passively increases your bonus loot chance and yields more gold per kill.
- Mining (Max Lvl 10):
  * Left-click Ore Deposits to mine Copper, Iron, Gold, or rare Uncut Gems.
  * Higher levels and better Pickaxes increase speed, yields, and rare ore odds.
- Fishing (Max Lvl 10):
  * Left-click Fishing Spots at the pond to catch Minnows, Trout, Salmon, or
    legendary Golden Fish.
  * Higher levels and better Fishing Rods increase catch speed and item yields.
- Woodcutting (Max Lvl 10):
  * Left-click Choppable Trees to collect Logs, Oak Logs, Willow Logs, or Magic Logs.
  * Higher levels and better Hatchets boost chopping speed and log yield.
- Firemaking (Max Lvl 10):
  * Select logs in your Inventory to light a Campfire on the ground.
  * Higher levels produce longer-lasting fires and provide larger warmth buffs.
- Cooking (Max Lvl 10):
  * Left-click an active Campfire to cook your raw fish into edible meals.
  * Higher levels reduce the chance of accidentally burning food and increase
the odds of a perfect, bonus-healing dish.
- Melee Combat (Max Lvl 20):
  * Automatically trained by engaging enemies in physical hand-to-hand combat.
  * Each level directly increases your melee damage output and maximum hitpoints.
- Smithing (Max Lvl 20):
  * Trained by using the Blacksmith's furnace to smelt bars or forging gear at the anvil.
  * Higher levels unlock complex recipes and access to elite gear tiers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. CRAFTING / EQUIPMENT TIERS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Visit the Blacksmith prop near the village square to process your resources:
1. Smelt Bars: Turn raw ores into Bronze, Iron, Steel, or Rune Bars.
2. Forge Gear: Craft tools and armaments across six different slots:
   * Weapon (Sword): Enhances melee damage output.
   * Shield (Shield): Boosts blocking capacity and armor defense.
   * Armor (Body Armor): Provides massive defense and boosts max hitpoints.
   * Pickaxe: Maximizes mining speed and multiple-ore yield.
   * Hatchet: Maximizes woodcutting speed and log output.
   * Rod (Fishing Rod): Maximizes fishing speed and double-catch rates.

Gear Tiers (Progression: Bone -> Bronze -> Iron -> Steel -> Rune)
- Bone Tier: Requires basic logs and monster bones. Available at Smithing Lvl 1.
- Bronze Tier: Forged with Bronze Bars and logs. Available at Smithing Lvl 1.
- Iron Tier: Forged with Iron Bars and logs. Available at Smithing Lvl 5.
- Steel Tier: Forged with Steel Bars and logs. Available at Smithing Lvl 10.
- Rune Tier: Forged with legendary Rune Bars, logs, and ultra-rare Dragon Hide.
  Available at Smithing Lvl 16.

5. PRAYERS / MAGIC
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlock critical abilities and specialized toggleable prayers as your character
grows in level. Active prayers drain your Prayer Points over time. Kneel at the
Chapel Altar to completely restore your Prayer points and cleanse status ailments.

- Toggleable Prayers (RSC Prayer Book):
  * Protect from Melee (Lvl 5): Reduces incoming standard damage by 40%.
  * Burst of Strength (Lvl 3): Grants a +15% multiplier to all melee damage dealt.
  * Clarity of Thought (Lvl 8): Amplifies all combat and skilling XP gains by 10%.
  * Rapid Heal (Lvl 6): Doubles your natural out-of-combat hitpoint regeneration rate.
- Master Spells (Costs 1 Prayer Point per cast):
  * Smite (Unlocks at Combat Level 5): Instantly strikes all living targets on
the map for massive direct damage (30 + 4x Combat Level).
  * Frost Nova (Unlocks at Combat Level 15): Deals high magic damage to all
enemies and inflicts a 55% chilling movement slow for 3.5 seconds.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. STAMINA, FATIGUE, AND POISON STATUSES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Run Energy (Stamina): Toggle between Walking and Running. Running increases your
movement speed by 60% but consumes energy. Heavy plate armor increases the weight
  penalty, draining energy significantly faster.
- Fatigue: Intensive labor (Mining, Woodcutting, Smithing, Cooking) raises your
Fatigue meter from 0% to 100%. Once at 100% Fatigue, you are completely exhausted
and unable to work. Walk inside the Cottage and click the Bed to sleep, which
instantly clears all Fatigue and completely replenishes your health.
- Poison: Dangerous elite creatures (Shadow Assassins, Wraiths, Dragons) have a
chance to poison you on hit. Poison inflicts continuous periodic damage over 8 ticks.
Drink an Antipoison Potion from the Merchant or pray at the Altar to cure it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. MAP
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The village features walk-in structural buildings equipped with functional interior
mechanics. Use your camera position or proximity to fade the roofs out:

- The Bank: Open the vault to store excess raw resources or withdraw items.
Keeps your active inventory clean for high-yield farming.
- The Chapel: Kneel at the glowing central altar to instantly restore your
Prayer points and neutralize active poisons.
- The Cottage: Features a comfortable bed. Interact with it to sleep off
fatigue and heal up between tough waves.
- Campfire: Cook your collected raw fish here. Consuming a cooked fish cures
  5 Hitpoints instantly.
- Traveling Merchant: Appears near the village square. Sells vital consumables
such as Emergency Rations, Gold Caches, Fortune Charms, War Horns, and Draughts.
- Wise Old Man: Located at the central hut. Speak to him to receive tactical advice,
advance story quests, or sign up for lucrative Slayer Tasks targeting specific beasts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. BONUS TIPS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Priority targets: Necromancers actively cast healing mends on wounded allies.
Always hunt down and eliminate Necromancers first during dense waves.
- Beware the Dodges: Ghosts like Wraiths and Banshees possess innate evasive chances
and can phase through your sword strokes entirely.
- Troll health regen: Cave Trolls regenerate high chunks of health over time.
Do not split your damage; focus them down with aggressive combat styles.
- Manage exhaustion: Don't let your Fatigue lock you out right before a wave arrives.
Plan your sleeping cycles around wave intermission timers.
- Resources first: Gather resources before waves so that you are safely prepared for
stronger enemies. It's a quite short window, so be efficient!
